The Housekeeper can tailor a clean to suit your needs following a renovation project to your home, which could be as simple as redecorating one room to building a large extension or even a complete renovation. Our builders clean will certainly be the helping hand you need.
This type of cleaning is really useful when your special building project has come to an end and you just want to start enjoying your newly decorated room or new extension, but don’t have the time or inclination to tidy up after the builders have gone. We can also make sure your home is ready for you to enjoy or for when you intend to throw a party – we can get you ready for the big event and then pick up the pieces afterwards!
We know you will be itching to get back to normality, but dependent on the scale of your building work, we would recommend waiting up to two weeks after the builders have gone before we conduct a builders to clean, to allow the dust in the air to settle. Although carpets and rugs can still be cleaned prior to this, by waiting that little bit longer you can be confident that The Housekeeper will provide the most thorough clean possible.
A builders clean includes everything that we offer in a regular clean and deep clean along with:
- Spot removal of any stubborn marks left behind
- Removal of dust from all those unexpected and hard to reach places
- Cleaning carpets and upholstery
- Dusting and cleaning of electrical equipment

A builders clean is generally completed in a two stage process whereby at the first visit we will give it a deep clean and remove a lot of the dust, excess plaster, marks on walls/windows etc. and the second visit is a sparkle clean once all the dust has settled.
